Guide to Buying... at a glance

Buying your first holiday home? It’s as easy as... 1,  2,  3

We believe that buying your holiday home should be a joyful, exciting experience. We don't want you to be overwhelmed by the process and so we have put together a brief guide to keep your head clear and focussed on making the right decision for you.

1: Choose Your Park

Consider: Travel distance • Location / out & about • Site fees / running costs • Facilities • Children • Pets

How long does it take to travel to the park? You could use your holiday more if it is only a couple of hours (or less) away.
What does the surrounding area have to offer? Do site fees and running costs suit your budget? What on-park facilities would you like, if any? What will occupy your time on park or would you just like to relax in the peace and quiet? Is the park suitable for children, is it a good environment for pets with good walks on and off park?

2: Choose Your Holiday Home

Consider: Outlook doors • 2 or 3 bedrooms • Open plan / separate rooms • Bath or shower • En-suite bathroom or wc

Would you like your holiday home to suit you most of the time or be able to accommodate visitors all of the time? An open plan living area has the advantage of being more sociable, a separate lounge can be more cosy and work as a third bedroom for visitors. What type of bathroom would you like? Some holiday homes have bath and shower, some have just a shower room, some come with a shower over the bath • Would you like your en-suite to be a bathroom, shower room or just a w.c? An additional shower room can be more flexible when friends/family come to stay.

3: Choose Your Plot

Consider: Orientation • Location • View

How much sun will your location have? Would you prefer to have a shady spot or are you a ‘sun worshipper’?
Would you like fishing outside your front door or a short walk to village / restaurant & bar. Close to the surrounding walks or close by to see your children on the play area. Would you like to be in the centre of the community, watching the world go by, or looking out across the water.

The site is well laid out, beautifully maintained and the staff are so friendly.
